Before your appointment, please complete the patient registration and health forms on www. veropeds.com. Click on Create An Account and follow the directions.

Bring your insurance card and identification to your appointment. Please check with your insurance company to find out what is covered by your policy. Be prepared to pay your portion of the charges at the time of the office visit. Be aware that your insurance may not cover everything done during your appointment.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled.

As a courtesy, we attempt to remind you of scheduled appointments. It is the responsibility of each patient, however, to keep his or her appointment. Our office has a No-Show policy. If you do not give at least 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $25 fee.

Our office participates in a call group with several other local pediatricians. If you need after-hours medical advice, please call our main office number 772- 978-9000. You will be given the option to access Telekids, an after-hours nurse program through Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital. The nurse will dispense advice for non-emergency situations and can in many cases save a costly trip to the emergency room. There is a $20 charge for this service. Be assured, however, that a physician is on call 24 hours a day to provide back up to Telekids and for hospital emergencies.
